Keystone Montessori Elementary, an AMI Recognized School, opened in 2010. Guided by the philosophy developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, we provide a learning environment which fosters respect, cooperation, exploration, and a love of learning.
A Personalized Learning Experience
The Montessori curriculum allows each child to progress at his own pace. Teachers plan lessons based on each child’s readiness, needs, and interests, rather than adhere to a fixed timetable. Children are active participants in their educational experience. A Montessori education allows for the fullest development of the child’s potential and provides a foundation for a life of joyful and successful learning.

Keystone Montessori Elementary holds a Certificate of Recognition from Association Montessori International (AMI). AMI was founded by Dr. Maria Montessori in 1929 and serves as the network and community that applies the principles of Montessori in many aspects of life and living, building upon the approach without compromising its integrity. As such, it is the recognized authority for those interested in applying the Montessori approach at multiple levels—from education to humanitarian causes to research and the broader physical and social environment.
